Under the difficult conditions such as nowadays due to coronavirus pandemic all over the world, CPESE2021 was still be held as a virtual form during September 10-12, 2021. Approximately 200 participants from all over the world gathered together to exchange ideas on the topic of Power and Energy Systems Engineering. The conference set up a rich schedule, and there are also some conference awards: Best Paper Awards, Best Student Paper Awards, Young Scientist Awards etc.

On Sept. 10th, Conference Chair - Prof. Hassan Bevrani made an opening remarks, and Local Chair - Prof. Kei Eguchi host the morning session.
On keynote and invited speeches session, Prof. Frede Blaabjerg (Fellow of IEEE), Prof. Jinyue Yan, Prof. Hassan Bevrani, Prof. Hongbo Ren, Assoc. Prof. Haihong Qin, Assoc. Prof. Miao Yu and Assoc. Prof. Yuko Hirase etc delivered excellent speeches.
Moreover the conference was composed of 27 technical oral sessions, topics covered, for example, Electrical Theory and New Technology; Wind Power Technology and Engineering; Solar Energy Development and Utilization; High Voltage Transmission and Insulation Technology; Power Grid Control & Grid-connected Technology; Power System Optimization and Dispatch and so on. Each parallel session went through smoothly and a “Best Presentation” award was issued at the end of sub-conference.
On the afternoon of Sept. 12th, Conference Chair - Prof. Hassan Bevrani made concluding remarks during closing ceremony and Prof. Kei Eguchi announced the Winners of Best Paper Awards, Best Student Paper Awards, Young Scientist Awards during that time.
